Yes! As we are not a locked facility, residents who are cognitively able can come and go for visits, appointments, or outings. We ask that residents return by 9pm for the safety and rest of all residents.
We can care for residents with mild dementia, mobility issues (including wheelchair users for temporary conditions), and those needing assistance with daily activities. We cannot accommodate residents requiring 24-hour skilled nursing, those with Stage 3-4 pressure sores, or those needing Hoyer lifts.
As a non-medical facility, we do not provide transportation services. Medical appointments and other transportation needs are the responsibility of the resident or their family. However, we help coordinate with families to arrange transportation.
With only 6 residents maximum, we maintain an excellent staff-to-resident ratio with 24/7 coverage. This ensures each resident receives personalized attention and care.
Yes, we can accommodate various dietary needs and preferences. Our home-cooked meals are prepared with residents' nutritional needs and preferences in mind. Please discuss specific dietary requirements during the admission process.
Residents should bring comfortable clothing, personal hygiene items, any mobility aids they use, and cherished personal items to make their room feel like home. We'll provide a detailed list during the admission process.
Our trained staff are on-site 24/7 and are prepared to respond to emergencies. We have established protocols for medical emergencies and will contact emergency services and family members as needed.
Overnight visits are generally not permitted to ensure the comfort and routine of all residents. However, special circumstances can be discussed with our administrator.

We provide various social activities and programs designed to keep residents engaged and active. Activities are tailored to residents' interests and abilities. One of our residents also attends an adult day program three days a week.
The admission process typically involves an initial phone consultation, an in-person interview with the potential resident and family, and completion of a pre-admission appraisal (Form Lic 603). The timeline varies but we strive to make it as smooth as possible.
